Any exercise that increases blood circulation can be beneficial for lowering high cholesterol. Try this easy yoga stretch at home.
Stand with your feet a little more than hip width apart. Bring your arms overhead, knees are straight but not locked, wrists are relaxed. Bend forward from the hips with head down and swing your arms in and out of the space between your legs and feet, back and forth five times. Inhale on the upward swing and exhale on the downward swing. Come back into a standing position with arms overhead and repeat the movement up to ten times.
If you feel any pain or dizziness, stop slowly and discontinue the exercise. Do not practice if you have high blood pressure or vertigo.
