First Visit Hesitation
I know the whole concept of laying down so someone can place needles in your body to make you feel better sounds insane. Even when you have had a treatment it is hard to describe to others how good it actually feels. Many of my patients tell their friends, family and co-workers about me and are met with some resistance, which I completely understand. A big part of being an oriental medicine practitioner has to do with educating your patients, in this case future patients, as to what you do and why it helps. I’ve heard many other practitioners dive into very esoteric theory which unless you have been to four years of acupuncture school may do nothing but put you off to the whole idea of acupuncture.

Once you get on the table I can assure you that the treatment will quickly become very relaxing, if not a high point (pun not intended) in your week and will become something you look forward to during the course of treatment.
Even if we can get you over your aichmophobia, belonephobia or trypanophobia (which are all in one way or another a fear of needles) some people worry about price and effectiveness. I think I can provide a low cost way to show people how good acupuncture treatments can be.
