    Pericardium Meridian Massage

Although strictly not an organ, the Pericardium has an important role to play in Chinese Medicine. The pericardium meridian supports the heart meridian in controlling blood circulation. Massaging it can help with low blood pressure problems, heart palpitations, fatigue, memory problems, shortness of breath, chest pain, and tingling in the fingers. On an emotional level, it can reduce restlessness and anxiety.
Start at PC 1 (tian chi) and move in one direction to the end. Use your fingers, thumb or palm to apply gentle pressure along the entire meridian. Remember to massage meridians on both sides of the body. When you reach the end, return to PC 6 (nei guan) massaging and circling 36 times with thumb and finger. Use this point for treating nervousness, stress, memory problems and heart palpitations.
