    Time for a cup of tea….which kind would you like?

    So you decide to make a cup of tea, but which kind do you want?…..green tea, black tea, fruit tea, herbal tea, white tea………How do you choose? Well, it all depends on the time of day, the season, and of course, the purpose for drinking the tea – to relax, to think clearly, to lose weight……..Not sure? Then maybe the following list will help you.

    Spring  Flower teas are best in spring as they are uplifting in energy
    Summer  Green tea will help cool you down, boosts the heart and eliminates toxins
    Fall  Drink qing cha, a tea midway between green and black, such as oolong*, to add moisture
    Winter  Black tea is best for its warming energy
    All seasons  Oolong tea

    Morning  Green tea to eliminate free radicals
    Afternoon  Chrysanthemum tea to benefit liver and eyes
    medlar by solipsist
    Evening   Medlar tea, rich in iron and beneficial to kidneys and liver
    After a heavy meal  Pu’er tea** will boost fat metabolism

    Working overtime  Cassia tea*** for the brain and eyes

    Smokers and drinkers  Green tea

    * and ** weight loss teas
