Our clinic has some exciting news!
First of all I would like to thank all of my patients that I have had the pleasure to treat over these short few years that I have been in Baltimore. You and the community that is Baltimore itself, have welcomed me and help make my practice a success.
I have upgraded and moved my clinic three times in the last five years each time striving to help more people, and help Oriental Medicine reach a broader audience. I have been fortunate enough to find a small team of like minded individuals, namely Michelle Shaw LMT, and Heather Easter LCSW, both who have stayed with me through the moves. I have finally found a space which will allow me to provide more acupuncture to everyone.
My new office has a large community space which is now setup and ready to go. We hope to used this space for seminars and classes, but its main focus will be a different style of acupuncture clinic called group or community acupuncture. I have hired an experienced acupuncturist, named Andy Mo, to run this space. He has studied at a great school in LA and has run a practice for himself for over five years. His training and style are similar to mine, and his passion for what we do is definitely equal. We are very happy to have him aboard.
Now for a little bit about group acupuncture:
Group acupuncture provides acupuncture treatments in a comfortable, relaxed environment at a sliding scale rate of $20-40 per treatment. It is our goal to provide quality acupuncture care to everyone and we strongly feel that this is the answer. The main differences between this style of acupuncture and our private sessions is the fact that you will be in a room with up to five other people, and we ask that you wear loose clothing or bring shorts and a t-shirt to change into. This setting allows us to lower our overhead and pass that lower cost onto you. This type of acupuncture is perfect for anyone looking to receive treatments when cost or insurance status may be the determining factor. We are starting to offer hours on Tuesdays from 2pm till 8pm and Saturdays from 9am till Noon. As these fill up we will offer more hours. If you haven’t been in because of finances or change in insurances status, please take advantage of this opportunity to get acupuncture! I am also asking my patients, both past and current to spread the word about this service. So, if you know someone who could benefit from treatment, please forward them this message. Thank You.
