Army looks toward new ways to fight pain
Imagine a battlefield somewhere in ancient China. Wounded soldiers find relief from pain by the arrows they have been punctured with. Acupuncture is born, or so the legend goes. Today we have GIs returning from combat with pain caused by a variety of wounds and illnesses and who are now being given an opportunity to be treated for that pain with acupuncture.
