A Flury of Activity at our Quiet Clinic

The last two weeks have been a whirl wind of activity, at least outside of the tranquility of the treatment rooms. Last week I was interviewed for and Internet radio show, after the show was over the host offered me my own show on the weekends! Coming soon, I will be hosting “Getting to the Point with the Acu Guy” on Sundays from 1-2pm. I know the name is a little corny, but the show will be filled with useful information about how acupuncture can help you, your pets, the community and the world as a whole. I’ll be having tons of guests, responding to emails and in the future phone calls. So, keep an ear out at Health Beat Radio, you’ll here me soon enough.

What else is going on, well how about I extend that sleepy feel-good feeling you get after a good acupuncture session? (Seriously, this is starting to sound more like an infomercial than a blog post.) Well if you have an iPhone (all versions) , iPod Touch or an iPad you can have that feeling whenever you want! Yes coming soon to an iTunes near you, Serene Mind, will be a biofeedback app to help you de-stress at work, relax on the couch or even drift off to sleep at night. Keep an eye out for that, and you won’t be sorry.
Lastly, my book You Got Sick, Now What? which will tell you seven secrets from Oriental Medicine to help you recover from a cold or flu will be entering the editing stage soon. We are planning to publish as soon as October. It will be a simple guide of home techniques including Qi Gong Exercises, Acupressure Points, Cupping, Moxibustion and much more to help you fight off those nasty sniffles and aches. I will be selling them in office as well as online at Amazon.com and BarnesNoble.com. eBook versions will also be available.
Last, but certainly not least, I will be joining another practice (part-time) in Glen Burnie. I will be at the Baltimore Washington Counseling Center starting soon on Mondays 10 am-2pm and Tuesdays 12-5pm. You won’t be able to book online for this office, so please call my normal phone number to make appointments. I’ll let you know when I’m up and running at this office! Here’s a map for directions.
