World Tai Chi & Qigong Day
Just wanted to give a plug to World Tai Chi Day this coming Saturday on April 30. If you already know tai chi then find an event locally and join in, or go to your local park and ”play” by yourself. If you want to learn more about tai chi, then Saturday is a good day to find out. There will be demonstrations all around the country nationally and internationally of many different forms. And if you are wondering if you are fit enough to begin tai chi or qigong – as an instructor in the UK once said: “You can do it if you can tie your shoelaces or walk home with a bag of shopping”!!
Here is another article I wrote about World Tai Chi day for the examiner.com.

The following video by David Dorian Ross is a nice introduction to the meaning and benefits of tai chi. Note: The screen will go blank for a few seconds at the beginning. It’s supposed to!
