Hello All,
Ask any small business owner about opening up shop and they will tell you it was more expensive and took much longer than expected. We had a few hiccups getting to this point, but our grand opening was truly grand and we have now hit the ground running. I’m excited and honored to be working in our new space with such a talented staff. We’d love for you to check out our new digs; please visit ancientartswellness.com, or better yet give us a call to come in and check it out for yourselves.
We have some big plans for our new little office, including:
- Resuming community acupuncture sessions; we’re still working on the logistics of the space and times. I was sorry to have to cancel the sessions, they are a great way to have a first exposure to acupuncture as well as receive a gentle push towards health.
- Monthly meditations sessions with Vikatadamshtri Buddhist Center
- Seasonal Open Houses- Where current and future patients can come in an meet the staff, enjoy some tea and hear about all our services offered.
- Seasonal Art exhibits- We treat and know many local artists and our walls will be showcasing many of them, we plan on changing art seasonally.
- Community outreach programs- We try our best to attend events and work with local charities to support our city, state, country and planet. If you know of any charities that are looking for support from and integrative health center let us know!
- Monthly health talks provided by our staff and friends in the allied health professions
- We are also trying to organize weekly pediatric acupuncture sessions. Pediatric acupuncture uses no needles, just tools to stimulate acupuncture channels and points. These techniques would be done in groups and techniques can be easily taught to parent to treat their kids at home.
- Training courses in Reiki, Meditation, and Energy Medicine
We should be adding more and more to the practice as time goes on. Please stop by ancientartswellness.com frequently for updates on current events.
